Every Sunday of the year seem to be Mother's day but i am not complaining because i am a woman too, so imagine my amazement when i found out today is Father's day, oh finally we spared one Sunday for our dads, that is awesome, for me this day is a very beautiful day not just because we are celebrating Fathers but because i am celebrating a very special Man.

For many Nigerians in diaspora, the thought of returning home comes with mixed feelings. There is no place like home yet the place we call our home is inundated with several challenges. Security threats and absence of adequate infrastructure are just a few plaguing the country.

Everybody knows You can't be all things to all people. You can't do all things at once. You can't do all things equally well. You can't do all things better than everyone else. Your humanity is showing just like everyone else.

A beautiful piece not written by me but i totally relate, some times people just say sorry without really meaning it.

A woman became pregnant and during child birth she had complications; and the doctor tells her “It is either I save you, or the baby.” Even in her confusion and pain, she screams “save my baby” Now that is Love. Love is not that powerful emotions we feel towards someone or something because we can place a face to it; Love is giving up your life for a baby you haven't even met , that is what we call unconditional love. As humans,we all want love. But,

It sounds absurd to tell a person who has just been told by a doctor that they have just two weeks to live, to praise God; like seriously are you for real! who does that in this world except Christians? Those crazy folks, who give thanks to God even when their young wards leave them behind to go to the grave beyond. They say in everything; and for everything, giving praise to God is of utmost importance.

In this month of our independence, I can't help but think of our beautiful country Nigeria. As a nation we have too many issues like;

As a christian every thing I do depends on God. I started thinking of paths in life when I listened to a sermon “The Principles Of Path Way."

So often,  we allow the ups and downs of life make us forget; we are the light of the world. Sitting in my room, listening to country music, from my phone got me thinking about a lot of things in life.
