Monday 7th November 2016; Waking Faith By Steven Furtick - God's Anointing Is Never Late For An Appointment

1 Samuel 16:7

"But the LORD said to Samuel, 'Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The LORD does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart.'"

1 Samuel 16 describes the search for the next king of Israel. God had told Samuel that the future king was in Jesse's house, but He didn't tell him which of Jesse's sons was going to be the king.

So Samuel, after looking at all the sons Jesse presented to him, said, "Do you have another one?"
Jesse said, "Well, there's the youngest, but he's tending the sheep." Samuel said, "Send for him; we won't sit down until he arrives."

The son that Jesse didn't even plan to bring in the room was the one God had chosen all along.

I want to make an announcement to you today: Man can't dis-appoint what God has appointed. When God calls your name, and when He gets ready to use you, to do a work in your life, to raise you up, to send you forth, to release your purpose... there's absolutely nothing that can stop Him.

When God says, "It's your time," He knows exactly where to find you. So don't stress out about it. Don't worry about whether or not people appreciate you. Don't worry about whether they notice you. Don't even worry about whether they know your name. It doesn't matter.

Do what God has called you to do, be who God has called you to be, and when the time is right ā€” you'll be exactly where you need to be for God's assignment to find you.

PRAISES WITH NO BOUNDARIES

It sounds absurd to tell a person who has just been told by a doctor that they have just two weeks to live, to praise God; like seriously are you for real! who does that in this world except Christians? Those crazy folks, who give thanks to God even when their young wards leave them behind to go to the grave beyond. They say in everything; and for everything, giving praise to God is of utmost importance.
