Friday 27th April 2017; Waking Faith Daily Devetional By Steven Furtick - When Life Gets Out of Hands

1 Chronicles 29:12

"Wealth and honor come from you; you are the ruler of all things. In your hands are strength and power to exalt and give strength to all."

Have you ever reached a place where things were out of your hands? A place where you had tried all you could try and realized there was nothing more you could do? You could even be in that place right now.

It could be a relationship that doesn't seem to be working out.

It could be your finances that are out of order.

It could even be a situation in your career.

When a situation gets to the point where you want to throw your hands up and say, "It's out of my hands," that's normally a sign of desperation and defeat. But I want to offer you a new perspective today. Instead of seeing your lack of control as a problem, start seeing it as an opportunity to rely more on God.

Just because it's no longer in your hands doesn't mean that it's not in God's.

When the situation is out of your hands, it's the perfect time to put it in His. Unlike your hands, God's are never lacking or limited.

Life may not look the way you want it to right now, but instead of placing a lid on your expectations ā€” relying only on the supply that you can provide ā€” place yourself under the mighty hand of God, where unlimited power and strength reside.

PRAISES WITH NO BOUNDARIES

It sounds absurd to tell a person who has just been told by a doctor that they have just two weeks to live, to praise God; like seriously are you for real! who does that in this world except Christians? Those crazy folks, who give thanks to God even when their young wards leave them behind to go to the grave beyond. They say in everything; and for everything, giving praise to God is of utmost importance.
